Chandeliers on Abbey

Your hosts

Chandeliers on Abbey is the vision of owner / operators Glenn and Jody Parry.

Jody’s family has resided in and around Yallingup for over a century. Her ancestors were some of the early pioneers of the area and in the early 1900’s were the original occupants of the Abbey Farm homestead at the western end of Abbey Farm Road.

During the 1980’s Jody’s parents, June & Tony ran the Gold Plate award-winning restaurant The Lobster Pot on Caves Road. Jody grew up living and breathing the hospitality life and after graduating from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) degree, embarked on a professional career within the entertainment and tourism industries. She managed the public relations department for the internationally renowned Burswood International Resort before founding Parry Public Relations and Promotions in 2002.

Jody’s primary focus is to provide a personalised service to each and every visitor. Her attention to detail, thoughtfulness and innate understanding of guests needs, ensures Chandeliers on Abbey delivers on its pure perfection promise.

Glenn, a professional golfer, coaches golf and caddies on the US, Asian, Japan and Australian tours with his brother Craig Parry. Golf is Glenn’s passion, so if you need the odd golf tip, or enjoy a good golfing story, Glenn is sure to oblige! Glenn has embraced the south west as his home enjoying the relaxed and peaceful lifestyle when on leave from the international golfing circuit. His wood-working skills are clearly evident throughout the property, especially within the magnificent Chandeliers Art Barn which he has lovingly resorted to its former beauty.

Jody and Glenn’s dream of creating a world class, truly personal and intimate south west regional retreat was realised in 2006. Together with their children Taylor and Cooper, they invite you to experience the pure magic of Chandeliers on Abbey.
